Food Tasting: Sela Restaurant Singapore

Thursday, August 06, 2015

Was happy to spend my Friday evening at this gorgeous restaurant! Thank you Sela Restaurant for having me ♥︎ A group of bloggers and myself were invited to taste the dishes from their new menu last week. Sela Restaurant specialises in European cuisine with an asian twist, I honestly found their dishes very interesting. The new menu is created by celebrity chef Benson Tong,  who was also the one hosting us for the evening.

I absolutely loved the interior, so modern and classy!

Prices for mains range from $18 - $32

Proscuitto Ham and Melon

Pan Seared US Scallops

Miso Chilean Seabass

Kakuni Style Pork Cheek

Semolina Cake

Dehydrated Pineapple Pavlova

My favourite for the night was definitely the Dehydrated Pineapple Pavlova. I was so impressed with the fact that the vanilla ice cream was made from scratch! The rest of the dishes were also interesting and delicious. I'm a huge fan of salted egg anything, and I felt that it went really well with the scallops. Honestly did not expect to find a salted egg dish at a european restaurant haha! I think this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

For the month of August, Restaurant Sela is giving away a free full course dinner for 2 at your own home (worth $500)! If you win, Chef Benson and his team will personally bring all their equipment and go to your house to cook for you! How awesome is that?!

All you have to do is snap a picture of you at Sela Restaurant and post it on instagram with the hashtag #restaurantsela and tag me @audt to stand a chance to win!

Thank you once again Sela Restaurant and Chef Benson for hosting this dinner, I had a wonderful time!
