May 2016 Beauty Picks

Friday, May 20, 2016

Hello! I've been blessed to try a variety of beauty products over the last couple of months and these are the ones I really love so I thought I'd share them here ♥︎

I've never been a huge fan of masks mainly because I'm lazy and it's usually hard for me to either talk or do anything much when I have masks on. BUT THESE ONES FROM FRESH ARE LOVEEEE ♥︎ I first tried them because I was given some samples and the rose one smelled soo good; after using it for the first time I was totally hooked! My skin feels really fresh and bright after using both masks, but I'm a bigger fan of the Black Tea one these days because of the cooling sensation hehe

Another super loved product by Fresh! Again, I tried this because I was given a sample hehe, and soon after I finished the sample I could not stop thinking about it and ended up ordering from Sephora :D I love how mild yet hydrating this product is; helped my skin to recover when I suffered from pretty bad breakouts during my first trimester as well! And as with all Fresh products, the smell and texture is amazing ♥︎

This has been a staple in my makeup stash for years, I've written about it in previous beauty favourites posts before and till this day I haven't tried another BB more suited for my skin. This is a lightweight BB cream that truly effectively brightens your skin! I love using it under loose powder and I don't have to touchup at all for the rest of the day :)

This is the latest addition to my makeup routine and I highly recommend this for girls who are interested in learning to contour your face but have difficulty doing so with the usual bronzing powders and stuff. I fell in love with this product because it is just sooo easy to use; you're literally able to achieve a sharper more defined face in minutes. I'll probably do a more detailed post on this product sharing exactly how to use this soon!

This Multiple Stick is a popular multi-purpose makeup stick that you can use on any part of your face. I prefer using this solely as a blusher though. This is my first cream blusher and I'm pretty sure I will not be going back to powder blushers anytime soon heh. Again, very easy to use and blends perfectly!

This is an anti-aging product so I'm guessing it's not suitable for younger girls, I myself only started using this recently and I'm in my late twenties. The gel texture is great and I do feel that my eyes look brighter after I've started using this every night! I feel that wrinkles, dark eye circles and eye bags usually make people look a lot older than they really are, so it's important to pay more attention to eye care (especially for those who are approaching 30s hehh). So if you're hoping to start on your anti-aging skin care plan soon, maybe you can consider this!

That's it for my beauty picks this month, hope you guys liked it! If you have any products you love and would like to share, do leave a comment below :)

  1. Yayyy I'm first! 🙋🏼 i'm a fan of Etude House's lipsticks because I looovvvee their vibrant colors.. After reading your post, perhaps I can consider getting the contour stick as well to make my chin look sharper *hehehe*
However BB Cream breaks me out, so I'm a convert to Chanel's Liquid Foundation ❤️❤️
Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing Aud 🙆🏻
