Soteria Face, Nail and Hair Salon Event

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

Was really happy to be invited to try the SP Scalp treatment at Soteria Face, Nail and Hair Salon recently :) Most of you don't know this but I have been dealing with really bad post-pregnancy hairloss around 4months after I gave birth. I just had to run my fingers lightly through my hair and the floor around me will be filled with hair (pardon the grossness)! It got slightly better just before this event, but my hair was in really bad condition. So this invite was a lifesaver for me! :D

Lovely gifts from German brand Babor

It's been about 1-2weeks since I've done the SP Scalp Treatment and I'm happy to share that my hair does feel a lot healthier and does not drop as much anymore. It's a lot easier to curl with less frizz as well. Of course, the stylist did remind me that it's very important to start using hair serums or hair tonics to maintain my tresses. Overall I am pleased with the result, thank you Soteria

For those of you who are interested, the SP Scalp Treatment costs $160. There are ongoing SG50 promotions going on at the store as well, so do check them out ♥︎

  4. Hi, not many people take notice that Iron in the body is key to strong strands. Without adequate iron, hair can shed excessively and the hair shaft itself can become brittle and broken. This is due to inadequate oxygen delivery to the scalp and hair follicles.
Iron can be found in Kidney beans, oysters, sesame seeds, lentils, spinach...

Keep smiling, your hair is growing stronger everyday with needed vitamins.

  5. Hi, If you deal with both a dry scalp and complexion, zinc could be what you're missing. Low levels lead to dryness, flaking, and dandruff, says Fusco. Zinc assists in the skin's natural sebum (a.k.a., oil) production to promote moisture. Oysters, chicken, beans, nuts are the source of the zine that our body need.
