Kayla 4 Months
Kayla turned 4 months old exactly one week ago ♡ And I feel like her facial features have sorta changed again? Am also feeling like she's behaving more like a baby now than ever, haha is that weird? She's more clingy than before, and she likes to snuggle into people's chests (which I find soo cute)! She's also starting to differentiate day from night; if she goes out at night she'll turn into a crying monster.. but in the day, she's a perfect little angel. I really really enjoy bringing her out now though because every little thing seems to fascinate her!
The highlight for this week was us going to our first ever baby gathering! There were about 12 babies and their mommies :)
( Kayla's on the extreme left, 2nd row)
I actually joined this online group for moms whose babies are due on the month of february this year while I was still pregnant. Its a really great support group and everybody there is super friendly! So glad I finally got to meet some of the mommies after so long :)
More random baby pictures below... :)
And am ending this post with a video of Kayla tasting a grape for the first time!
( D has been waiting to let her taste a fruit for a really long time lol )
She is so naturally beautiful!

Hi, talking about baby food... Try not to start solids too early. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that babies be exclusively breastfed for six months, and that you wait to introduce solids until the baby is 6 months old. Between 6 months and a year, breast milk is still the most important food in your baby's diet, so it is important to keep your milk supply up. The best way to do that is to breastfeed before offering solid foods rather than after.
ReplyDeleteI have a 7 mo girl who weighs 19 lbs ( big girl) She breast feeds 5x /day with one meal containing 1/2 jar of veggies and 3 tbs of rice cereal. She seems very content with that so far!
