Kayla's First Swim

Thursday, May 07, 2015

Kayla swam for the first time last week! She loved it so much we let her swim again 2 days after haha. Got her an inflatable baby pool because the babyspa (swimming facility for infants in Singapore) is so overpriced! Kayla is about 11weeks old (when she swam) so she still needed to use the neck float to support her neck heh. It takes about 30mins each time to fill up 1/2 - 3/4 of the pool! We felt a little bad for wasting so much water, so we ended up using the water to wash the floor outside :D Here's some pictures and videos of her swimming ♥︎

The funny thing is, she used to hate bathing and would always cry when placed in water. Now she's always happy and smiling when she's swimming or bathing, and would cry when we take her out instead!

*** Ever since I posted a photo of her swimming online, I received quite a few messages asking me where I got the inflatable pool from; well I got it from taobao (link here) , pool + float + pump for under $40 SGD! Very good deal considering one swim at the baby spa costs about $45 :D:D:D There are different sizes available, I got one of the larger sizes for Kayla ♥︎

  4. I think the swimming pool water can be reused after the first swim?? Right!

There is a kind of water pump and water filter called filtration system
for keeping swimming pool clean...that will help to save water for your baby
    Most joyous happy hours :)

I wonder how did the neck float function on a baby neck?!
